I worked at TY Camp Hill as an Assistant Director for just over two years and had a wonderful experience. I was sad to leave for a new teaching job in the public school system! The staff are caring and dedicated to making sure their classrooms are clean, educational, and fun. They take DHS regulations very seriously to ensure a healthy and clean environment. Management and staff were always friendly, accommodating, and were in constant communication with families about their children. Even throughout COVID, they took precautions to try and prevent the spread of all illnesses and navigated a tough time with ever changing guidelines from licensing agencies. Their Summer Camp program goes above and beyond what most places offer, even throughout the pandemic. A quality educational program that’s jammed pack with fun, field trips, and STEM learning. Tender Years is currently run by the children of the original owner/founder Betty. It is clear they take great pride in their business and insist on providing the best care and education for young children possible. It truly is a family owned and operated business, no corporate ladder, and run with love. I was proud to have worked there, proud of the quality of care and educational experience we provided, and would happily recommend any TY location to family, friends, community members, and send my own kids there some day!
