On Monday, October 27th, Tender Years is going PINK, and we need YOUR help!
For every person who visits Tender Years on October 27th, wearing pink, we will donate $1.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This includes parents, students, staff, and anyone else who wants to stop in to any of our facilities sporting something pink.
Like many people, we’ve been touched personally by this devastating disease. Betty Krebs, President & Founder of Tender Years, had this to share. . .
“I went for my routine mammogram last October and was told I had breast cancer. The diagnosis was a complete shock, as I felt fine. Even looking back, there was no indication that I was sick, but I was lucky because the cancer was caught early. I had surgery last November and am cancer free today. My prognosis could have been much worse had I skipped that mammogram. Early detection is key to a successful outcome and I encourage all women to have their annual mammogram.”
Will you help us support a great organization in our fight against breast cancer? Simply show up on Monday, October 27th, at any of our centers, wearing something pink. That’s all there is to it!
Thank you for your support! We look forward to seeing you sport your pink on the 27th!!!
